Work under the general direction of the lab supervisor with assistance only as needed to handle unusual situations. Occasionally instructs lesser-experienced technicians. Work duties involve a definite degree of skill accuracy an d coordination. Performs the more specialized mechanical andor electrical tests on product components Ｏr series of components. Maintains records on work performed analyzes data collected an d reports results. Keeps supervision informed of developments as needed. - Installs operates an d maintains shop Ｏr laboratory test equipment an d instrumentation. Develops an d builds shop Ｏr laboratory test fixtures. Assists by providing laboratory service in support of Quality Control audits an d evaluation of customer complaints. Monitors raw material qualification tests as the material is received. Ensures good housekeeping safety practices an d the availability of adequate supplies an d equipment. Frequent contact with others outside work group. Analyzes problems involving the gathering an d interpreting of data. Any an d all other as may be required. Requirements: 3 years degree in engineering Ｏr quality Ｏr business preferred. 3 years of experience as test technician preferred. Certification of internal audit for IATF16949 is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to reading an d writing English is required. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. Some analytical ability where problems are not difficult Ｏr complex. Oral an d written communications basic skills. Knowledge of basic math.
